इस दौरान बाबा रामदेव ने कहा कि वह हमेशा से बेटी पढ़ाओ बेटी बचाओ अभियान में सरकार का काफी समर्थन किया है 22 के साथ-साथ उन्हें प्रोत्साहित भी किया है जिस को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए उन्होंने काफी संगठनों के साथ भी काम किया है और कहा कि मेरा ऐसा कोई अपमान करने का इरादा नहीं था और ना ही मैंने ऐसा कोई किसी का अपमान किया है साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि उनका एक कार्यक्रम महिला सशक्तिकरण पर ही आधारित था और जिसमें बाबा रामदेव ने महिलाओं के प्रति 1 घंटे से भी ज्यादा का भाषण दिया था जिस भाषण में उन्होंने महिलाओं के प्रति काफी बातें कही थी लेकिन कुछ सेकंड के वीडियो में मेरी कुछ टिप्पणियों को गलत तरीके से पेश किया गया था

साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि मेरे लिए महिलाओं के प्रति मां और मातृशक्ति के प्रति बहुत ज्यादा सम्मान है जिसमें महिलाओं के पोशाक को लेकर जो टिप्पणी की गई थी वह साधक कपड़ों को लेकर की गई थी और उस टिप्पणी को लेकर अगर किसी भी ट्राई की भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंची है तो उसके लिए मुझे बहुत खेद है इसके लिए उनको कोई परेशानी के लिए मैं माफी मांगता हूं
